Weathering/stopping slippy shoes? By Guest. 06/01/09, 11:52 am |
| Recently bought a pair of heels to use as a base for some boots, and they're really slippy. o_o as they're heels, I'm prone to falling over anyway, so the slippiness doesn't help.
Any ideas on how to make the soles non-slippy? They just have no grip to them.
lol yes, I'm tall and wearing heels - sorry Becky. ;-; |

| Try those squishy seethrough "out-all-night" (I think they are called) sole grips that you stick to the toe area and/or the heel area of the shoe to help your foot grip and prevents blisters too you can get them and similar ones from the chemist or kmart |

| thanks for the suggestion, but I'm talking about the actual sole itself. I've already got some insoles. |

| Ooh whoops lol
Well this worked for me - I had to replace the outer soles of my wedge heels I'm reconstructing for a cosplay so I sliced the sole off and replaced it with a sneaker sole by hotgluing it Even though heel sole's arn't really removable it still works if you just glue/nail a new sole over the original.
It seems to work quite well but theres probably an easier way around making them less slippery.. |
