I dont think it will be. She recognised the 10th, so she was in a timeline in which he didnt regenerate. Plus, I reckon they wont bring her in for a bit. Give other people a chance before a major plotline like that.
Then again, I'm probably entirely wrong.

The 9th Doctor was killed by the TARDIS.
Remember he absorbed the Time Vortex from it off Rose.

Riversong might be the new compainion as she was created by Steven Moffat and he is the new writer.
However because she reconised the 10th Doctor one of the 4 'special eps' would have to show the meeting before he regenerates.

I don't think she will be the new compainon tho as she described some of her travels with the doctor out of that diary.
They sounded more like dates than adventures so they would be boring to watch.
I all likelyhood they will just leave it now.

In other news did you hear that Tennant had to stop performing in Hamlet for the time being because he got a slipped disk in his back

hmmm well the Time Vortex has already 'killed' him, why not give the Tardis a turn...but talking into account what happened in Season One with Margaret Slyvine and how the TRADIS reverted her into an egg, due to its physic link with her...etc...for the TARDIS to 'Kill' the 10th Doctor, the 10th Doctor would have to WANT to 'die'/regenerate...

So it will be something new entirely if they get the TARDIS to 'Kill" him...hmmm makes you think...

Hows this for a theory

the doctor becomes partially converted into a cyberman and he has to die and regenerate to become "un-upgraded" the and the tardis kills him so he can regenerate and this spawns mat smith/doctor

hows that for a far fetched theory

Exciting!
Don't get me wrong, David is the most awesome Doctor to grace television ever in my opinion... but! It is so exciting. New doctor! New personality! New death!

My death theory is possibly that he will die to save someone... I guess the 9th Doctor already did that but that was for Rose... it would seem like the 10th would do it to save all of the universe. Either that or his cockiness will get him into a tight bind... maybe he'll trip over Very Happy

I hope the next companion is male! That would be... interesting twisted

Captain Jack and Ianto have their own show but it would be great to see them once again on Dr Who or maybe the Doctor in Torchwood Cardiff

Me and a few friends were talking about the companion for the next series we came to the conclusion from comments made in the episode's "Silence in the library" & "Forest of the dead" that the doctor will be to young for River song to be his next companion, as in one of those episodes she says he looks younger then she had ever seen him... Alot of ppl though she would be but yeah i dont think so...

And i mean common they just have to bring Jenny back that will be full of epic win. but then it makes yah think there leaving her out to bring her back at the end of his final life to carry it on in another spin off...

As for Cpt Jack as much as i love him, He can rearly go in the TARDIS with out if stuffing up.

Yeah, there is Captain Jack in Torchwood... it's just so much better when he and the Doctor are together.
