OH. OH GOD. DO NOT EVEN START ME PANICKING I MAY NOT STOP OH GOD.

I am doing two dresses, one for me, one for bunnycard (who is one of those silly people who joined the forums, posted once, and never again). Hers is...not done. Not even remotely. I have done about 90% of one sleeve - still have the other sleeve, the bodice, skirt, bustle and headdress to do. Oh, and a GIANT CROWN APPLIQUE.

Mine? I have gloves and a wig, and I bought my lipstick. I am faking my stockings and shoes, because I cannot afford proper boots. My dress is not started yet.

I fail at life...DAMN JOB AND DAMN INCOME.

I mean, it's dinky and quiet but the dials are not clearly labelled and the feed-dogs are frankly pathetic. Has trouble chewing past some half unpicked satin-stitch for goodness sake! But I'm a Bernina loyalist. My Bernina goes *chunk*chunk*chunk* - Vespa goes *whir*whir*whir* and I feel like I could safely put my finger in the way of the needle coz the little engine couldn't possible be strong enough to drive the needle through it! And the needle threader is pretty dinky, but I only use it because they have made the eye of the needle really short at the same time and so REALLY hard to thread manually.

Almost certainly *sweatdrop* Hopefully will be onto beading by then. Sooo many beads!

The bra inserts don't fit. Damn. And am not going out for the next size down at this stage and I can't imagine altering them is going to work. I'll have to go without. I guessed in a rush. Bad move. But then again they were labelled by dress size not cup size!

Last resort - butcher a bra. I had to do it once, and will probably do it again, and it works surprisingly well.

Mmm, it takes a bit of figuring out if the necklines aren't similar at all, but boobage tends to look better lol.

yes, and leave the back strap alone if at all possible. Try not to play with the basic support, only as much as it needs - do you have a picture of the dress?

I'll be wearing a suit, and it is about 90% done. Just have to do the waistband of the pants and the button holes on the jacket. Very Happy

EDIT: Pics of the dress are all screen caps and not good, I kinda work around them. Right, possibly obvious question but I was planning on putting this between the lining and the satin. Am now thinking this is a bad idea. Goodbye silly bow!

I've just realised that my iron is ruined. And therefore I can't do anything that requires ironing tonight. Oh well, I still have a tu-tu underskirt to make. To the Warehouse Batman! I'm not ironing my $10/m satin with a teflon-less iron! Not happening!
