Touhou - the anime

Yeah, there is one.

For those of you who doesn't know what Touhou is, it is a shooter game (Similar to Raiden and such) produced by "Shanghai Alice Genrakuen", which is in fact a one person group with the member known as ZUN (other alias include god, and undefeated in the east).

What sets Touhou aside from other similar games is the well written storylines/dialogue, the awesome character designs, and THE SHEER AMOUNT OF BULLETS FLYING ACROSS THE SCREEN! HELL YA!

This doujin game has spun even bigger doujin circles. Apparently 1/4 of Doujin works at the last Comiket was Touhou-related.

Miyuki Sawashiro (Shinku from Rozen Maiden, Aruru from Utawarerumono): Marisa Kirisame
Ayumi Fujimura (Kyouka from Kyouran Kazoku Nikki): Aya Shameimaru
Mikako Takahashi (Caro Lu Lushe from Nanoha SS, Nishizawa Ayumu from Hayate no Gotoku): Patchouli Knowledge
Rie Tanaka (Maria from Hayate no Gotoku, Suigintou from Rozen Maiden, Chii from Chobits): Sakuya Izayoi (<3)
Ayumi Tsuji (Lola from Venus vs Virus): Remilia Scarlet
Aki Toyosaki (Su from Shugo Chara!): Suika Ibuki
Kikuko Inoue (Belldandy from Ah Megami Sama!, Sanae from Clannad): Narration

Epic cast is epic, so if the animation fails it will serve as a good drama CD.

Any subbers up for it? Released 29th Dec at C75, only 2800 Yen.

OHlkasdf. I had no idea there was an anime ;o; And even better that Nakahara Mai is in it! The whole cast is pretty awesome, i'm totally looking forward to watching this<3

Does want. I refuse to play the game (TOO MANY BULLETS >_<), but the story has always itnerested me somewhat...mostly becuase of the song 'Marissa Stole the Precious Thing' Razz

Anime is out and watched. Maikaze themselves did the eng subsm and it wasn't bad at all.

The most epic line in this show was:
"Yukarin turns 17." in the preview. It's the best VA joke ever.
