product that tones bald cap...

Hey wonderful Cosplay friends... I have a baldcap that I'm using as part of my costume and need to be able to tone it into my skin color so it's not so noticeable and also how do I attach it in the front without folk seeing it attached? My american friend staying with us at the mo mentioned some sort of make up paste you use to hold/tone the bald cap in front in place, but can't seem to remember what's it called... anyone know what it is and where to get asap please?
