I got a stupid test on the first day back... T_T Apparently my Japanese class has too many people and the teachers are getting rid of people D:

Hah, our conversation randomly turned towards DMC at lunch today and Fullmetal and I ended up randomly yelling "DANTE!" at our friends. Their expressions were funneh~

My Japanese class is big (26 or so people) but luckily we get split again next year for TEH NCEA.

xD My friend Maximiliane, I learned (last Friday) is obsessed with Dante, so I'm lending her the manga now. =3 She, like me, is obsessed with the sexy picture of Dante in the vol. 1 novel where he's shirtless and being felt up by a woman named Kerry.

OKAY.

DMC4 is teh awesomexorrz.

I'm fighting Nero's adoptive sister/friend/girlfriend's brother right now (who either goes by, in the current form, 'Angelo Credo', or 'One Winged Knight'... I sniggered at the second title, I admit.)

It's harder than DMC3 (just let that sink in for a moment before screaming), but so much more fun (HOLY CRAP NERO HAS THIS ARM THING WHICH YOU CAN USE TO PLAY WITH THE DEMONS LIKE THEY'RE RAGDOLLS! IT'S AWESOME) and it's got a better plot (complete with stuttering guys with extra-long emo fringes, and lots of impalings)

The music is better than DMC3 and 1, and the fight music is often lyricless, which is actually better than you'd think, although the main 'generic enemy fight' music is lyric'd, and has cool lines ("You can tear the heart from my chest." is my personal favorite)

A lot of the music now has both hard rock and synthesized gothic organ and orchestral parts added in, which makes it quite funky and nice to listen to, compared with some of the awful stuff in DMC3.

Graphics are predictably amazing, though the hair could be better. I was blown away by how the jungle looked, especially- though the shadows can be kinda weird sometimes, it's perhaps the most visually wowing thing I've ever come across in a game.

Dante and Nero get impaled a lot, which is always important in a DMC game, and for once Dante has had the common sense to pull the sword out of him the right way, not hilt-first. >>

Agnus is freaking hilarious to watch do his thing ("He's just as rude as the others say..." "So you're gonna kill me just because of the way I 't-t-t-t-t-talk'?" -Agnus gets made fun of for his stutter, which is kinda funny, if just for the face Nero pulls at the end of his line)

Gloria scares the hell outta me.

Sanctus is scary. @_@ He has funny looking hands, too. I can't wait to ask Liam O' Brien what it was like to motion capture for an old priest come Wellygeddon.

Credo is cool, even if he is goddamn annoying to fight (though his music is cool)

Kyrie annoys me, though it's good to see a DMC girl who does something other than wearing short, tight shorts and fighting demons all day (speaking of which... OH GOD, WHAT DID THEY DO TO MY LADY!? @_@)

Dante is SO FREAKING COOL I JUST WANNA CRY. He also goes DT in a cutscene in this game, which made me want to die from how awesome he looked (even IF I only did see his hand...)

Trish is Trish. And Trish is awesome (sadly, I can no longer jeer at her and call her plank-head... They rendered her hair too well for that this time.)

Lady has been destroyed, outfit-wise. WHERE IS MY PRACTICALLY DRESSED, SASSY DEMON-HUNTING BUDDY FROM YESTERYEAR?! T_T

VAing/motion capturing is excellent, as always.

One of my friends at school ships Neronte. I find this weird, but deal with it, as I ship VERGIL/NIGHTMARE! YEEEAH! (xD I joke, I joke. I would be serious, however, if I said I ship onesided Mundus/Vergil)

I'm listening to 'Devils Never Cry' now. <333 I adore the soft vocal part in it, as it has cool lyrics.

They brought back the final ranking music box thing from DMC1, which I adore. Except they did it with Kyrie's Song, obviously, and made it sound half decent. (The DMC1 music box was cooler though... With the Dante x Trish song. <3333)

Today during chapel at school, we sung all sorts of random religious songs... All of which had names shared with DMC4 characters.

It meant I learnt the name meanings of all the characters. x3

Nero means 'black' (not mentioned in chapel today, but I knew that one already)

Kyrie means 'lord'.

Sanctus means 'holy'.

Agnus means 'lamb'.

Now I just need to know what Gloria and Credo's names mean, and I'll know the entire order's name meanings! MUAHAHAHA.

Credo means 'I believe'.

Gloria means 'glory'

Dante means 'enduring' or 'everlasting'

Trish (if we take it as being derived from 'Trisha') means 'of noble descent'

Mary means 'bitter'

They're all very appropriate, the names of the characters outside the Order.

Dante seems to be endlessly struck down, but he continues on and does his thing regardless.

Trish's 'of noble descent' can be taken in the way of how Dante reveres his mother, and how Trish's image is derived or descended from that of Eva's.

Lady/Mary is appropriate as her feelings towards her father, who gave her the name, are somewhat bitter.

Oh yeah, some friends and I were heading outside after lunch from our house commons and we passed a girld reading a book and the author (Or title I can remember) was VERGIL. With no last name XD
