[WCB09] Showcase! ;D

This ball needs some pizzaz, so I thought maybe some live performances would be in order. Not a whole heaping lot, but maybe just a few - maybe 10 at the most?

I vaguely remember ages ago volunteering to sing 'Eyes on Me' live, so I might carry through with that. I convinced Caddyl to sing '1000 Words', but only so long as it's with someone (I've kinda half volunteered there again.... I dunno if I should though? xD)

I've some more ideas - remember the Gold Saucer play from FFVII that we kinda half-pied at the Picnic? We *could* do that again.
There's also the concert from FFVIII, but that would be a little difficult perhaps?
What would be epic is the Opera from FFVI, but that would be kind of hard to. XD

I thought though, that having 'Real Emotion' as an opening would be pretty funky. Fitting, anyhow. Any takers? xD

Dances are in order - we could have Hare Hare Yukai so long as everyone's not sick of it yet, Motteke Sailor Fuku (I'm sure Caddyl would love to lead on this Very Happy

) and Boom Boom Meccha Macho (which I know only me and two others know, but what the heck XD)

Any suggestions?

Totally yes!! Waltz for the Moon!

There is a piano in the hall, just a small upright and when i hit a few notes it sounded ok, to my thoroughly untrained ear at least.

Anyone else play an instrument and want to show off?

I play Drums fairly good, Violin reaaaly good when i can remember where to put my fingers. I had Three years training with Guitar, but i'm still CRAP.

And i sing. But if someones watching i sound reallllly dramatic.

Well, I know the Waltz for the Moon. Unfortunately, nobody else I know does. ORZ

Well, I've been playing mai Piano for 12 years and whatnot. If you need a pianist, I'm all up. XD
I have my usual FF Piano collections repetoire (most of the VII and VIII).

I wouldn't be able to sing if i used a full head cast/helmet. But if i sprayed some colour in my hair, got some MoMo-esque hair-band ears, and painted my face it would work fine. Thogh i tend to throw my body around drumming

So now we need to figure out what kind of music to play and rope in a few more musicians. With just Drms and Vocals we'd sound like a failed Rap duo.

And there is nothing worse than a failed rap duo... Hm... I can play guitar and sing at the same time if nessercary but I can only do basic chords. Half of guitar music requires you to have fingers of rubber.

...Actually, with the violin and the guitar, it sounds like we have half of the FFVIII concert band already. Now we just need a flute and a tapdancer. XDD

Thats why after three straight years of hard training, i still sound like an idiot when i try to play. We'll try to get another guitarist so its like

That was the worst representation of music ever. EVER!
