Region locking is so pointless

It's just a way for the publishers to squeeze as much money as they can. The dollar pretty much region-locks itself right now, but of the 4 games we own for the Wii, 2 are NTSC. xD And if we were back up to $.80 against the greenback, our PS3 would never see a new PAL release.

Not that the average Joe would smart enough to import if it were region-free, but that's probably their theory.

Yeah, but that system sucks when games released in America don't get a PAL release. Even more so when it comes to Tales games, as like 4 have had a PAL release.

Hey, the opening song to the anime is the same as the Japanese verison of the game !

Love that song, Bump of Chicken don't make more anime/ games songs do they ?.. ;)

Their single Arue is a song dedicated to the fictional character Rei Ayanami, from the Neon Genesis Evangelion series. The song is listed as R.A., the initials of the aforementioned character.
Their song Sailing Day is used at the end credits of the anime movie One Piece: Dead End Adventure. The same song is also featured in the Guitar Freaks and Drummania series of arcade games.
The songs "Tentai Kansoku", "K", "Sailing Day", "Karma" and "Mayday" were later used in the musical arcade game by Bemani in GuitarFreaks,DrumMania and Pop'n Music. "Tentai Kansoku" was also featured in Meccha! Taiko no Tatsujin DS: 7tsu no Shima no Daibouken.
The song "Karma" from their Supernova / karma single is the main theme for Namco's Tales of the Abyss video game.

Yeah the issue though I've found is trying to find a well-seeded torrent for them or a direct download that isn't separated in large files in rapidshare. Still once you get the iso you just have to burn the image on to a DVD and it all works out.

Every time I want to download anything via torrent, it has like 5000 leechers and 2 seeders and will take like a million years to download so I don't even bother. <__<;;

Lavi is my magical computer man, I ask for things that I'd have no hope of finding myself, and they miracoulously appear a day or two later. 8D

GUUUH. I'm watching the anime right now, and it's freakin' awesome. I would love to play the game, but I don't have a PS2. Why the physics isn't my PS3 backwards compatible? AHHHHHHH.

I haven't watched the anime yet, but I plan to, because they stick to the original storyline of the game - and don't throw anything stupid in there.

Looked up the Tales of Abyss anime on youtube and only found non-subs videos of it, watched a little bit of clip, it was nice but had no idea what the characters were saying..

I WANT THIS GAME SO BADLY. But I can't find a place in New Zealand that sells it, or an international place that will sell one compatible with NZ playstations. I don't wanna mod my ps2. I've been oogling this game for weeeeeeeks.

I like the anime better then the game, actually.

It might be just because their Japanese voices are so much better....xD

But yeah.
The animation is so pretty.
And they manage to make Luke's jackass-ness slightly more tolerable by adding more humour to it.
