&.... being the nerd that I am I missed the bus and went into Borders and grabbed some Tsubasa & Holic to look at.... If something were to happen to the eye Watanuki got from Doumeki then he would have a monocle on that eye =o

KuroFai fans: Do you think there's any hope left for a confession since we only have a single extra-long chapter left?? Or another hint towards it, since we haven't had one in about ten chapters.
I doubt CLAMP would give us anything more than a subtle or have-to-squint-for 'I love you', since non-KF readers would probably be all " WTF??!!! '0.o " if they kissed, so what're your opinions?? Do you think we'll get one or have the canon-ness end with a cliff-hanger ~~like usual~~??

KuroFai-Fan here, reporting for duty~! Truth be told, I never thought they would make kurofai canon, and I think this suspicion is correct. :c In my mind though, they should give us the implied "and they lived happily ever after" thing where we can think whatever we like about their relationship. 8D I will be devastated if they ruin all chances of it being canon though ~~like if they made one of the two die or if Fai for some bizarre reason went back to his homeland despite it being empty~~

Is it odd that I keep thinking we'll get a KH style ending where they all get separated after beating the big bad guy?

Well, if Fai does go back to Nihon with Kurogane (which we all know he will be), then they will get married shortly after arrival.
Even if it isn't shown, it will happen.

I thought once he got his eye back he would be healed of his vampireness? (Though I did wonder if that changed once he gave up his magic - the only reason having his eye back would remove the vamp was 'coz it would mean he had all his magic and so his body would be able to sustain the injury, but he gave up half of his magic at some point anyway, so maybe that is no longer true? idk, lol)

NEW INFO: Updated finishing date

CLAMP recently anounced that Tsubasa, rather than finishing in th 44th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shounen Magazine on September 30, will now have it's last chapter in the 45th issue, and end on October 7.

Just did a slight re-read of lastest chapters . . .

. . . Anyone else notice that on page 11, chapter 230, Kurogane seems to drop Ginryuu, his father's sword and most-prized posession in the first chapters . . .

. . . So that he could prevent Fai from being sucked into the swirly-thing like the Syaorans??

If that doesn't say 'I love you' then we at least know that Fai is extremely precious to Kurogane! ^ ^

Now we just need confirmation from Fai . . .

Except it's not Ginryuu, it's Sohi, the sword he picked up in Oto.

When you consider exactly how he left it behing though....stil extremely physics badass.

The sword's Ginryuu.

Souhi's the one he exchanged for Fai in Celes. And then he got the original Ginryuu back from Tomoyo and that's the one he's now using.

He leaves Souhi behind the FIRST time he rescues Fai, back in Celes.

Then he gets the real Ginryuu from Tomoyo when they get to Nihon, the fake one having been given to Yuuko at the start.

& in a recent chapter he drops real!Ginryuu to save Fai. Again.

I think Fai is going to have to buy Kuro's next sword =P
