Wings for Dark costume

I know some people use umbrella bits for the frame, but otherwise I'm at a total loss.

I'm making wings for my Dark (DNAngel) cosplay for sometime later this year, but I need some help on how to make it and what to use (and maybe where to find said material), does anyone have any suggestions at all?

..I'm pretty sure there's a Genesis wing thread around here somewhere? It covers basic ocnstruction, fetahers, tutes, all that jazz.

WAH i wanna do Krad, stupid wallscroll i brought at Geddon <<
Ima be cheap and use wire, fabric & Feathers thats how i made my Ryuk wings it works greatish sept i keeped playing with them and at the end of the night they sorta ended up wraped around me XD XD
