Gothic Lolita - Cosplay By Kyoushu. 11/11/08, 05:32 am |
| I'm not sure where to put this so if this is in the wrong place just tell me...
I was searching Gackt/Malice Mizer and found Mana's clothing range and thought if you had a cosplay you wanted that was gothic lolita or similar (Think MisaMisa) that this would be a good site to look at Moi-meme-Moitie.
I've only had a cursory glance at it but it looks good and thinking bout getting some stuff(Somehow) and not even for a cosplay |

| it's REALLY expensive, Moi-meme-Moitie. But it has really nice quality products. If I recall correctly, it's one of the better lolita brands along with Baby The Stars Shine Bright and Angelic Pretty. There are a TON of places to get second-hand too |

| Extremly expensive. I have a friend who thinks of Mana as a Lolita god, and she wants one of his dresses. But again, extremly expensive, so not entirely practicle for cosplay. Only hard-out Lolitas. Like my friend xD. |

| umm ... its the most expensive brand in shinjuku atm ... moi-meme-moite ... and not one of the better ... i would go so far as to say the best as it is by the creator himselfherself though yeah second hand is always an awesome option ...
NZ at the moment i think if you're lucky to find them ... mostly GLP ... Gothic Lolita Punk ... not the best brand but it'll do without having to break your piggybanks wiht postage when gothloli is expensive enough as it is D8
@Pura: heshe is not god ... rather she is goddess of gothic lolita because he did create the fashion ... |

| It's not my opinion, it's her's xD. She's very hipercritical about lolita and such. |

| If you wanted to cosplay lolita, I would say check out Anna House, I got my first lolita dress from there, top quality, and it was only $110nzd excl shipping for the dress!, but lolitas a hard one to perfect, and it is so expensive, you gotta have the shoes, dress, and pettis, then you go socks, parasols, headwear. But if ANYONE is thinking of cosplaying lolita, for the love of GOD, DO NOT DO BLACK AND WHITE UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!! I HATE going to conventions and seeing "cosplay lolitas" that look like maids, it makes me want to beat them to death!, no offense v.v |

| The maid look is acturly a sub of Lolita... <<
I have a few of the GLP one's there pretty good, not best of quility, but it still give the look and so far mine have lasted a year, the only thing thats died is the damn gloves... Mind you i wear lolita at less 3 times a week XD
So unless you care about brands then yeah go for one of the higher brands if your like me and just want the look then it dosn't matter as long as you like the outfit XD |

| Huuurmmm, for afordable lolita you can try Bodyline. I have heard they are getting better and better (but they still have some very miss dresses) and the prices aren't as painful. But then again some lolitas really, really dislike it.
