Lots and lots of anime/manga...
Post By whirlgirl. 26/11/08, 03:35 am

You have no idea how much of a fan I am of anime and manga. sweatdrop
I currently have 26 mangas that I'm reading and about 10 I'm going to get back to and that's not even counting the ones I've just finished reading. DX
My animelist/mangalist is never up to date either. T____T It's too hard to even try.
I'm not even going to get started with anime...

Oh yeah. Yay for mangas turning into animes!! (w00t!) A lot of the manga I read have turned into anime recently. (I'm glad Kuroshitsuji is one now!! I've been bugging Xina about it since I started reading it. LOL. Any Kuroshitsuji fans out there I recommend you read 'Rustblaster'. It's a one volume manga by the same manga-ka and this was what turned me into a fan before Kuroshitsuji came out.)

So my 6 recommendations each for the last couple of weeks: (mainly stuff I've recently been watching or has recently came out and I've either read the manga for.)
Anime:
Toradora (Awesomely entertaining anime. Go Taiga! Go Ryuuji!)
To Aru Majutsu no Index (Magic, Psychic powers.. need I say more?)
Natsume Yuujinchou (Light-hearted and Refreshing.)
Clannad (So sad.. best plot to date.)
Shounen Onmyouji (The ending wasn't as good as I hoped but it was coool.)
Skip Beat (The popular manga has finally turned into an anime which I'm thankful for because the anime art is better than the manga.)

Manga:
Tegami Bachi (The art is just... WOW. O.o)
Doubt (Who is the killer in this horror?)
Beauty Pop (Finally a decent Shoujo that isn't mushy, lovey-dovey.)
Nurarihyon no Mago (youkai, youkai, youkai)
Spiral (I'm a mystery fan. The manga is 10x better than the anime.)
Akagami no Shirayukihime (Strong female heroines. w00t!)

Now go watch/read the above. *shoo* *shoo*
Then come back and comment.. or if you have seen it comment tooo. nyahaha

Lol I haven't seen any of these - oh no, more to add to the to-watch list. Though I've seen the first few eps of Shounen Onmyouji, (yay someone else has seen it,) I need to pick it up again.
I want to pick something up that isn't a fighting/journey type, cause I'm watching enough of them at the moment. sweatdrop

I tried picking ones that weren't instantly popular like Kuroshitsuji. Very Happy
Most of them are new anime. Toradora, To Aru, Natsume, skip beat.. are all recent, at most 12 weeks old. Shounen Onmyouji and Clannad aren't new but I've been rewatching them lately.

The manga is just random picks from my list. whee

SPIRAL~ Finally, someone else who reads it! Actually, I prefer the anime xD. I bought some of the manga, but it wasn't as good. The only reason I'll finish reading the manga will be to find out how it ends -__- The anime ended crap.

I have a Spiral wallscroll too~ >3

I've been watching recently:

Kuroshitsuji (Love.)
Casshern SINS
Soul Eater (but Rumbel stopped subbing -__-)
Earl and Fairy/Hakushaku to Yousei (heh, so cool~)

I need to catch up with them all. Exams have made me slow. I'm behind by eight episodes altogether from those anime Dx.

I really wanna watch more KHR too x_x.

This is what I'll be doing all holidays. Watch my massive anime backlog.

I have ... Seven manga that I need to read that I own >__>
DNAngel volumes 7-9
Blood+ volumes 4 and 5
Blood+ A volume 1
KHR volume 1

My bookcase is now officially full too. (But I haven't stacked them on the side yet ... I should ...).
Good thing I have another bookcase >__>

Shocked Where?! How much?! I have no money but I want one! Very Happy

Yeah the anime ending is the exact reason why I read the manga.. So I'll revise what I posted the manga is 10x better to read than watching the anime ending. Very Happy

OooOOoh I haven't seen or heard of Casshern SINS. I better watch that. XD

I just can't stand being behind on anime/manga. Even with exams I try to keep up-to-date. I don't think I'd be able to stand it. I've been really lucky though that a whol lot of manga-ka's decided to take a break these last couple of weeks so I had that time to study. (mainly the Shounen Jump ones.)

Most of the Shounen Jump manga I like.. except for Samurai Usagi.

I own no manga but I frequent my libraries manga shelves recently. (I read mostly online.. I have absolutely no money to buy... T______T)

The three titles that caught my eye: Beauty Pop, Skip Beat!, and Spiral. <333

I have the ending of Beauty Pop in Japanese... I bought it without realising and it freaked me out when I discovered it. xD

Skip Beat! - I really like the manga~ ...Is the anime really better/good?
I've been reluctant to watch it incase it spoils the manga for me with differences and iffyness. >.>''

SPIRAL. I watched the anime first and it was LOVE. Minus the ending that can't really be counted as an ending! D<
I have yet to finish the manga. >.>''
I found a Spiral artbook online the other day though~ ^^

@Pura: B-but... WALLSCROLL??? LUCKY.

@Xina: Yes. I'm satisfied. Oh am I satisfied. ^________^

I was like this with D.gray-man as well as far as I remember..

@Wishe: I tried to do different types/genres. Very Happy If you like those you'd like Natsume Yuujinchou too. It may seem Shounen at first but its actually Shoujo.
Skip Beat anime is exactly the same as the manga soo far.

The wallscroll got given to me from my sister, who got given it by one of her school friends, so I haven't a clue where it originally came from ...
Spiral wallscroll to the left~

The black poles of it kinda got smooshed under the ownership of my sister xD. I have them somewhere ... But I just pinned it to my wall.

Lawl. You can see my three shelves of manga to the right. Kinda ...
The four volumes of manga I just bought made the total count to 186 .___. Four more and it'll be 190~ Fourteen more and 200~

@Wishe: the manga drawing is bad, it's better to watch the anime. whee

@Pura: We have 25GB and I'm the one that goes over that limit every month. I've bought an extra 10GB for an extra $10 a few times before. Mainly on holz because I'm at home so I watch more anime... sweatdrop

Though I'm more of a manga person than an anime person (anime takes too long to download, and it's harder to multi-task while watching an episode. D8 )

Tora episode 8 was pure win. Ep9 tomorrow. Must DL.

Spiral (I'm a mystery fan. The manga is 10x better than the anime.) - Where the hell is the rest of the English scan.

To Aru Majutsu no Index (Magic, Psychic powers.. need I say more?) - Plot advancing a bit slow IMO.

Watch Kannagi! XDXD

@Basaka: I find a lot of mangas on mangafox if I can't find it anywhere else. So the English scans are there, I think. Very Happy

@Pura: Everyones allowed their own opinion. ^^ I watch everything so only my very favourites count.. I've even watched real real bad anime. The only anime I couldn't finish because it confused/irked me too much was Touka Gettan. XD
