Don't worry, she's been sewing like crazy and having sewing marathons all the time.

Now when I draw, I start to pay extra attention to the fabric the characters are using. Is it latex? Cotton? Nylon? Satin? I don't even want to cosplay the said character.

In my defence, they do change the way it folds...

You know you're a cosplayer when you have your costume almost completely done four weeks before the event, but it still ends up being held together by safetypins (like my Lifestream cosplay for AuckGeddon's monday xD)
