You never wear jeans, but you bought a pair, cause lets face it every anime school boy wears them.

You have always wanted a pair of warm moleskins, but finally buy one cause they match the colour of Brock trousers, more or less. Same with the t-shirt.

You wanted a highland basket hilted broadsword, a broadsword, and a rapier, but bought three Katana (you are never going to actually use outside cosplay) first because Zorro had them.

When you have given up, because it has to be close to the characters ear rings. So you ask for a quote for a commission for my jewelery. Commissioning scary. Earrings scary.

(Off topic: BTW I know a guy who can do some custom jewelery if you want/need.)

you know you're a cosplayer when

1. the guy who serves you at the store can obviously see your obsession with fabric
2. you start guessing what kind of fabric random strangers walking by are wearing
3. you start shopping at bridal stores XDD
4. you have to have 4 different shop assistants serve you because they cant understand your question (lol language barriers XD)

This happened to me. I always go into second hand shops anyway, but I went into an antiques, found the perfect brooch for my Mizuho cosplay. And it was $3. Good day..

And try to remember every detail of their costume.

Reverse it and, watch the scene again and again.

I now a lady in the UCMRS who can walk around the streets and point a fashions people are wearing and go, 12th Century English, 14th Century French, 15th Century Italian, 7th Century Viking, etc.
