CNZ table idea~

1. Unofficial merchandise is not allowed i.e. we cant do cosplay accesories and things as there will be the sponsors tables and they will be selling official merchandise and the such
2. Calender idea is tentative as it is very in between the artist category and the business category
3. Business table = $250 - 300 i think
4. DO will PROBABLY be held on 25th July, venue undetermined as Seong is looking for somewhere bigger
5. Business cards/fliers are A-OK as long as they are not commercial
6. The event for next year is a Rock thingy thingy oh I don't know I think a band is playing or something and are in need of a female lead singer who can preferably cosplay
7. The slot is still open to doing things like dances (like the lucky star dance this year)

umm thats all i can think of atm ...

please dont kill me ... umm yeah ... any furthur questions i will also ask =D

welllll......as long as we have some 2D art on our table maybe it'll be fine so sell 3D art as well? like calenders and stuff? as an on-the- side thing? D8 so I'm sure if we have about 10 people putting in one type of print or art we can get away with it XD

I'm really keen to draw and sell CNZ posters..it's good for promoting the forum and it'll be art. *shrugs*

=v= ok I'll start drawing some ideas when i come back from China in like....late Jan.

I suggest everyone take pictures, or give numerical description, of whatever they want to sell at the CNZ table and post them a month before DO starts. So we have a better idea of who's selling, how many tables we need to get, how to organise the roster for looking over the table and where we will put everything.

lol there was also the problem of pirating ... =D parodies are fine

and I think the CNZ badges would be fine as well as long as we include some kind of anime related art work in it i think =D

yea....but as long as we write the word FANART somewhere i don't think anyone will try to ....sue us....or anything

maybe as a small print on the side..= = i don't think the buttons will be big enough to fit more than 1 character along with the CNZ letters

that's what id usually do ... like if we have an outline/shadow of and emblem or something in the background =D

Hrmmmm~
So yes, talk to him about the calender.
If we make the calender the idea is each main city will submit for 3months~ Then Jess will collage the images? If needed... Unless that city wants to do one big photo? Also, each month should have a basic theme.

Main cities are-
Dunedin, Auckland, Chch & wellington, I think?

We'll also be holding an emblem contest at some point.
After that, we'll be holding a buisness card contest to hand out buisness cards.

I'm also thinking, maybe it'd be neat to get cosplayers to collaborate to make an art book?
Except two pages for each person, one page with the art, another page with a picture of the artist cosplaying?
I'm not sure, just typing what comes to mind without fully thinking it through~ ^^'

Also, it'd be nice to have the cosplayers who are having a table at the event to have tables near us?

OH... We could ask a few of our artists here to draw a few pictures of characters cosplaying other characters?
They'd get all the money made from them, of course... ^^

Like, OHHC... Cosplaying Fruits basket? Seen that somewhere though, so maybe not.
We could do obvious ones, like the ones actually in shows... LUCKY STAR, ANYONE? 8D

Could they have two? I'd be okay with a full band, as I'm more used to that.

Um, the thing with badges etc, was that official ones are normally available, so it is seen as pirating. And I'm sure that having a few 2D items mixed in with the 3D won't let us off heh...
