Christchurch Christmas Cosplay Club Party

When: 19th-20th December, yes its a sleepover!
How long: 5.30pm Fri - whenever Sat (round 4)
Where: Same hall as the halloween party~
What: Christmas Party, games, prizes, fun things galore!
How much: $5
What to bring: Yourself, Sleeping Stuff, One food Plate, one wrapped present, one Christmas Decoration, some money for hall hire (and maybe timezone?), a ds as well as pokemon diamond/peral etc

We've only just started planning, so help, join in, let us know what you wanna do! ^^

~ Present Game as played at the mid-winter christmas party, everyone brings a present, we put them in the middle and one by one choose a present~
~ Human Christmas Tree in groups, you pick a person to be the tree, then decorate them with - the group with the best decorated tree wins!
~ Wrap it up you will be given odd shaped items to wrap
~ Spot Light
~ Murder in the Dark
~ Group Games

~ Learn a dance lucky star, hona, harhui etc nows your chance to learn!

So as discussed months ago, we're naturally gonna have a club Christmas Party!
This is so extremely very early and I know most are busy with exams and such but oh welp, its up now, just so everyone knows it exists.
We can make heaps of plans for a super special awesome party!

Secret Santa ya mean when everyone bought presents and we sat in a circle and took turns at opening one? Thats the present game. Real name of it escapes me.
The Secret Santa I'm meaning is when you get given a persons name and buy something specifically for them.
... they both pretty much end in the same result, though the secret santa requires more organising. I think the first ones more fun imo.

I wouldn't think that after Christmas would be a good idea, a lot of people go away on holiday (myself included) and the weekends in late December early January are all bad (Christmas, new years, cosplay camp, again people going on holiday. We can't really have a Christmas party in late January! If anything the weekend before the 20th (13th) should be an option, but I wouldn't think either would make much of a difference, err just pick a date? heh.

If, like the Halloween party, the location for this is no more expensive for over night than just afternoon/evening, then it might as well be overnight, its an option for those who can/want to stay, and it's really fun that way ^_^'. (oh, and make sure you really remind people to bring (lots of) sleeping equipment, even if they're not sure if they'll be staying ;) ;) Very Happy

There is quite a bit of sealed food and some money left over from H!CCP which will all be donated to this.

The present game was pretty cool/funny. Secret santas are fun/interesting, but more work and can, (through the power of human nature) tend to have some level of drama/problems.

Yeah thats true, though when I was saying after christmas I kinda meant within the week hahah but then you're right people will probably be on holiday and whatnot.

Yeah well we were thinking the hall where we had H!ACP or the church where we had MWCCP.
Yes bringing sleeping equipment is a must hahahah unless they dont mind sleeping on the floor oO'

Yeah thats true for the secret santa, I think to make it easier and fair and all we just use the present game cause that was fun~

-is almost finished costume already... how?! I just started it the other day... it's not like me to be... organised -shock- I guess not having school helps XD (I should be studying though!) And now there's fur EVERYWHERE!!! I think... it will form a giant fur bunny and kill me in my sleep T^T
BUT! Christmas Chii outfit is worth it... hopefully?

and oh yeah... I need to continue making Jirachi, I've only made the hat-head ... just haven't had a chance to buy fabric... and I have no clue on how I'm doing the wish necklace erm thing sweatdrop

I've purchased 6 inflatable lilos, and i also have 3 single air matteresses, which will be avaliable for people to sleep on, but you should still bring sleeping stuff.

Also if you want to get a air bed / lilo, check out Payless, in the spotlight center on colombo st, they have some really good deals.

The lilo's from payless aren't as nice as the (single) airbeds (the three that Will had at H!ccp - and Bob had one too) however they are about 1/3 the price, also they are much better than sleeping on the floor.

If you don't have anything like this yourself and would need to use one, just post here before-hand and one can be reserved for you. If you don't have your name down for one, don't assume there will be spares for you! Make sure you bring your own sleeping mat or you will be sleeping on the floor! >_<
