Planning thread for the Halloween Christchurch Cosplay Party!

Price is set, $7 each to cover the cost of hiring a venue and decorations and other nice stuff. Activities added and decoration planning, movies and music.

Hall is booked!

Evening halloween themed activites and then dinner (everyone brings a plate). We can play some cosplay/halloween games and perhaps go for a photoshoot as well as green screen. Winding up, those of us that don't have a curfew, could stay the night and watch movies or an anime marathon or guitar hero and kareoke

thats a basic outline of ideas at the moment, I'm hoping everyone can contribute to thinking about this and together we can come up with something which means the most fun for everyone.

~~probably looking at $5-10 depending on how many people come, mainly for hall hire.~~

When: All Hallows Eve, 6pm Friday, 31st of October untill 1pm the next day
Where: St Michaels School Hall, cnr of Durham St South and Tuam St
Cost: $7 (for decorations, hall hire)
Bring: Yourself (in cosplay) entry fee (in change) A PLATE OF FOOD (halloween themed for bonus points!)

The ADP will be having a meeting on Halloween itself so I figure anyone here that's coming to ADP can cosplay there.

As such, I'm not going to H!CCP as I'm already going to H!ACP and will be cosplaying at ADP, not to mention it's kinda late for me to apply for leave.

i will be coming if it is not late on a friday night or if its not on a saturday during the day you would just be gay if you made it then cause halloween through the day is gay

Glad to be organizing something for CCP. Thank james as well for reminding us about this.

I'm actually going away for a week for Auckland Armageddon, won't be back until the 28th as well as work on the 31st until 5pm, so it's going to be a join effort between him and I and we'll need everyone elses help as well to make this really cool!

Games
Suggest some games people, that we can play:
Apple bobbing
Pumpkin Leg Toss
Worst Face (take turns to paint each others faces, whoever paints the worst face wins)
Mummy Game (fast team to wrap someone in toilet paper wins)
Murder in the Dark
Find the Pumpkin
Hide and Seek in the Dark

Any other suggestions, or you like the sound of these, let us know and we take things from there!
