Anyone in central Welly needing a flatmate?

To live with people who share the same interests as me = awesome.

Things I do in my spare time include videogames, anime/manga, sewing (for cosplay or otherwise), making plushies, painting/watercolours/markers. I'm also a huge fan of Dance Dance Revolution. Some of my favourite games include Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, Disgaea, Phoenix Wright (is chuu~!

I'm going to Auckgeddon 08 as Cooking Mama and hopefully someone from Disgaea too.

I'm 23, work full-time in the CBD, easy to get along with (wait a sec, this is starting to sound like a dating ad) and would love to hear from you if you're looking for someone to join your flat.

Boo, I'm not central Wellington (Lower Hutt), but I have got two rooms for rent at the moment if you're interested in moving to the hutt instead.

Pricing is pretty good too, essentially $140 includes everything. Room, Power, Phone, Internet, Sky, etc.etc. With a basic allowance of $15 included in that for food (the basics). That's for the double.

I'm not a big fan of commuting to work, unfortunately. Looking at suburbs around the CBD.

strifest - sure you do. It's wayyyy cheaper than CBD rentals, and it ain't really that far depending on where you work. I'm not actually in Lower Hutt itself. I'm in Belmont, on the hills overlooking lower hutt. Buses are from the end of the street down to queensgate (lower hutt) and then more buses into town, or jump on the train instead. Razz

LMAO, yes, support me, the hutts fine, and it's not hideous amounts of money like CBD is. I actually work in Ngauranga (a couple of minutes from town) and it usually only takes between 15 -> 30 minutes by car to get to work. 15 minutes in good traffic, 30 in typical peak hour traffic, so yeah. Come pay me money instead! :)

But yeah, thanks for the support Static, gets a bit frustrating that everyones set on CBD, but oh, well. Now I've got someone back into the double it's some of the pressure off, so now it's just down to the large single (with double wardrobe).

lol, it's not far off it. $135 is including a $15 allowance for food. Razz

it's not a huge allowance, but covers all the basics to live. :)

It includes Sky & Internet toooooo... :)

umm, sorry, no idea on snapper card, haven't looked at it since i drive. Belmonts only just a touch past Melling turnoff to lower hutt on the motorway, before. By bus tho you'd probably have to go via Queensgate Interchange in Lower Hutt if you wanted to visit or come look at the room. Razz

But yeah, to get to town you'd just jump the bus from Belmont Hills down to Queensgate, and then one of the buses that go through down. Kinda same thing in reverse to get here. The other usual way is to catch the bus (/a lift) down to the Melling train station (by the motorway), and then from there into town.

Yeah - I'm in khandallah at the moment, and it's either a train then bus to uni/work or a decent walk and bus. I'm trying to avoid making a change en route to wherever. Silly Metlink.
