JAPAN DAY 16 NOV 2008

OK guys as the title states

Japan Day is on 16 November (Sunday) 2008 at ASB Stadium, Kohimarama from 10 am - 4/5pm i think

so anyone want to come ... what you wear is ENTIRELY up to you fufufufuufufu and if you're keen there is a kimono competition as well as various acts being performed and such and entry is free only expense is transport and food ... but the food is so good *dies* various japanese restaurants set up stalls and sell food yum ... you can also purchase various other Japanese stuffs (not sure about how anime related it is XD )

I went last year and it was tons of fun and I loved the bon odori at the end of it
THAT WAS FUN ... would be epic to do it in cosplay or not whichever you decide =D

just advice XD if the weather is good ... then it'll be hot and lol well you can decide ... might go in gothloli .... would wear my "yukata" but its so fail and strange ... unless someone else cosplays XD *feeling a little shy*

Hmmm, I'm getting ideas now... I might grab a few of my Japanese friends and go... I've always wanted to try wearing a Yukata, so I'll see if I can get a hold of one!

Oooh I'll see if I can come! And if I finish it I could wear a kimono thingy, Alena, so you wouldn't be alone, although it would be a guy's one - a black kimono with a patterned kimono jacket (haori?) over the top. Probably not very accurate, but I'll see what I can do lol.

I think it'll be more suitable if the cosplays were traditional Japanese culture realted... you know, like the fedual periods and such...

lol this is rather short notice so BLEH ahahahahahaha if i wear my yukata its gonna be SOOOOOOOOOOOOO FAIL XD

really wanted to make another one but ...

no time,no money ... and it's the day before my last exam ... so unless someone has some scrap fabric somewhere (about 3 - 4m) then i'll wear my fail yukata or ill just wear normal =D

Its a Sunday, so count me in XD It's like 2 days before my birthday too, but thats incidental. Roll, I can give you a ride if you like.

Also if anyone else in Auckland would have trouble with transport let me know, I dont mind doing a roundtrip of the city if it means that nobody misses out.
