Hooold up!!! I totally just remembered that Guy Fawkes day is on November the 5th! How could I forget Guy Faweks day after seen a V for Vendetta cosplay thing on Monday?!

Where are you guys? Any chance of meeting up? I like in Pukekohe and unfortunately can't get very far away from here. Are either of you able to come to Puke for the event? There's a public gathering, and I wanna cosplay for that, but I won't do it alone...

I was thinking of making my own fireworks in Chem. My teacher already said we'd start mixing metals/chemicals to get different colours...

I remember in Year 13 Chemistry... our teacher decided to get a little crazy so when he decided that showing a very little sample of a very dangerous element reacting with water wasn't awesome enough... He took a whole fist-full, took us outside, and he threw it down the water-manhole thing...

It made one huge BOOM! and the ground even shaked a bit... Smoke coming out of the vents and the teachers next door came out and asked what was happening... and our teacher replied "Nothing nothing, don't worry, this is SCIENCE! It's educational!"

Venom you had a very awesome teacher Razz

Our teacher like threw chemicals together and warned us all to get back and cover our ears. I was so excited, and what happens it like does this boom like a balloon popping =_=; though in the same class we did a flaming homer so that kinda made up for it.

Heheheh I love fireworks =D
Caroline bay's firework display at new years eve is the best though~

The only fireworks I can honestly say I've enjoyed were at Disneyland haha.

Do you guys even get taught about Guy Fawkes?! Just curious, we learn about it in school because it's a huge part of our history.

I know it notes the date some dude try to blow up the British parliament or somesuch. Tbh, I never really cared. It was all about "oooh, aaah, pretty", and probably always will be XD

Haha naw. We never had them at home, no one really buys them there, if you want to see fireworks, you go to a show. Most people have bonfires, though.
So I guess I hate fireworks because I never had them haha,
