Auckgeddon Madman Anime Purchases vs EB/Gamesman

k, just thought I'd point this out since I usually hold off on buying anime as the time gets closer, and then buy it in bulk at Armageddon for the good prices.

Since Madman took over selling them directly instead of through Gamewizz (who used to distribute Madman in NZ), their prices have well, gone up a bit. At the moment EB/Gamesman in Lower Hutt (and apparently most of the others that do anime) have a buy 2 get one free thing on singles dvd's. So you buy two full price $29.95 dvd's for $59.90, and get 3 full price dvd's. Roughly $20 each at the end of the day.

If EB still has their special going (they still had it as at tonight), and Madmans prices are more than $20 on the new singles you're better off checking out EB/Gamesman to see if they have them there instead.

Box sets from Madman are an exception of course, they did have some really good prices on the box sets, it's just their singles pricing was a bit disappointing.
