Help with Spray Paint By Icewolfnz. 01/07/14, 06:56 am |
| anyone have suggestions with how I might achieve a better result with trying to paint a red strip down the centre of some webbing I'm planning on using on my costume.
have done 3 coats now and still not really getting any colour showing...
do I need to use a different colour as a base coat to put the red colour over or?
I'm using spray paint so |

| Is it black webbing? If so, you might have some more luck if you do a white base coat first. Also, check the type of paint you use for the base coat first because some types may not stick very well to synthetic webbing. |

| yeah it is black, sorry shoulda mentioned that. Yeah someone did mention doing a strip of clear acrylic nail polish as a base coat and then spraying over it once done. |

| Would spraying white paint as an undercoat work? |
