How do I get a photoshoot?

Over the past years I've only ever cosplayed at cons and I want to step up the level and do some nice photoshoots of my future cosplays.

To people who've had photoshoots done: how did you go about finding a photographer?

Or to any photographer located in Wellington/Tararua/Wairarapa district willing to do some shoots please contact me.
