Buying a wig... By thesmarterblonde. 17/02/14, 01:10 pm |
| I am going to buy a wig for the Effie Trinket cosplay I am currently working on and was planning on getting a Chibi from Arda to style. However, I am unsure as to whether I will need any extra wefts or anything since I am new to wig styling. Any thoughts would be much appreciated :)

| I wouls actually suggest getting a long length wig to style it. The pigtails on the chibi might not be enough to get the volume and poof you are after.
Something like http://arda-wigs.com/products/eowyn might work, as you can trim the bangs to the length you want, and definitely have enough length to do bring the hair on top to do the curls.
You might get away from cutting out bangs from the hair on the side from this http://arda-wigs.com/products/buttercup and then styling it, but the side part might be problematic/unwanted.
I'd rec hairspray like Schwartzkopf Taft, hold lvl 6, but other brands most extreme hold would work too.
Hope this helps!

| Buying online would be a good choice, like ebay and pabbos. |
