Orb in stomach wound, need help

| Hi guys! I'm planning on cosplaying as DB Kuroe from Shin Megami Tensei IMAGINE (their sort-of failed MMO), but am having trouble with sorting out some of the 'wounds she gains after turning into this form here, which I'm planning on making--> https://2img.net/h/i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s409/seniorWaCaBa/fiendKuroe_zpsc57469c8.png
Everything else I can nearly sort out, but there's the orb thing in her stomach-I was planning on wearing a shirt for the torso part anyway, but I'm confused on how to make the orb and give the effect of the stomach area having been 'carved' in a sense... you know what I mean, right? (sorry if that's confusing to you, I'm bad at explanations sometimes ^^;...) I may also accept tips on that skeletal arm there, I'm pretty amateur in props and body attachments. Welcoming any other tips too. :)
Thank you very much! |

| Ah, a much better picture and explanation. Art work. Short of a carving knife then you could get a SFx make up artist, or another artist to essentially paint it/make it up for you. Painting can give th illusion of 3D using shadows, shading, perspective tricks, etc. Ask Minifies if they know how to do it or can recommend someone? Failing that ask BodyFX, the court theatre, Rose, etc. Or look at body painters. NZ has some great body painters, but not sure who in Christchurch. |
