Contact Lenses help! By Emo!Axel. 02/07/13, 09:23 am |
| Hey guys,
The cosplay I'm planning for Overload is my own humanoid version of a character that is basically a teddy bear, and he looks like this:
- Spoiler:
Monobear from Dangan Ronpa for those interested
And so I was wanting some contact lenses that would completely colour my eyes, including blocking out my pupils if possible. One black eye and one red eye obviously.
So yeah, can anyone help me at all? Haha. It would be greatly appreciated.
(PS My cosplay design is pretty much just going to be one gigantic spoiler, so go read the LP or play the game if you know Japanese before Overload!!!) |

| If you have the money, I recommend purchasing from fxeyes.com. The nice thing is you can customize them, and have them made to your O.D. & O.S. presciption if your can't survive without glasses/contacts like me. |

| For the full black eye, you'd be looking at getting a sclera lens. They cover your entire eye. They are a butt to put in sometimes, especially if you haven't done it before. For the full red, hmmm. I cant find a sclera with red mesh over the pupil. Only this here. Google black scleras and see if I am on the right track with what you want. Good luck! |

| The only issue with sclera enses is they are insanely expensive. $350 last I checked, and as said before me, a massive pain to put it.
You could get around it by getting just a larger lenses in black and a red screen contact lense at maybe 17mm diameter instead of the usual 13.5 or 14- 14.5? they would be cheaper and the red screen contacts would block out your pupil. You'd see a bit or white at the edges but they would ultimately do the job. Also be cheaper than $350 haha

| You can check eyecandys.com for contacts. I don't know about the prices though. Good luck in hunting for the right contacts! |
