Anyone recall how much Warehouse cheapie chucks are?

howdy~

So yeah - anyone know how much the rip off chucks are at the Warehouse? Something tells me $10, but I'm not too sure. o_o

Failing that, what's the cheapest pair of shoes you've ever got from the warehouse? :p (yeah I know, my cosplays are ghetto... I kid you not, my Kairi shoes where made out of hot glue, $2 fabric and electrical tape.)

and whilst we're on the topic of shoes: would boot covers made of vinyl be incredibly hard to make? Or has anyone made bootcovers out of cheapie fabric - like muslin - and if so, did the cheapie fabric last through the day or was a fair bit of wear and tear had?

I bought my work shoes from the warehouse. They were $12, and after 3 weeks have fooked up! The inside is all warn and insole turns out to be a little bit of foam glued into the inside which has come out.

And 2 days ago the sole on one of them just perrished and tore apart.
Not impressed tbh! sad

but for 12 dollars.....meh

If you want cheap fake chucks that are good quality, try Number One Shoes.
I've gotten two pairs from there. The first pair I got about 4 years ago and lived in for about a year and they are still going now. No rips or anything. My new pair, black and bought for Tifa, are really comfy and only been worn once so far. xD

$20 at Number One Shoes. Yup.
Look for the brand name 'Rave'

Also check out the trade aid ripoffs... I think they're around $20, too... but don't remember... If they're not out front somewhere, just ask at the counter - they only display like 1/4 of their stock at a time 'coz the shop is too small.

Vinyl bootcovers stand up to wear and tear just fine. My I-no boots (http://little-noise.com/cospic/2006/inojustina.JPG) were like big red socks that got pulled on over boots and then got taped to the sides of the sole n_n I don't know how well they'd stand up to wear if you covered the sole as well, but if it was on anything but concrete I can't imagine there'd be a problem.

Nooo, those were only 3" heels of pain...XF the hat was pretty painful though. It's amazing how much heat is trapped on one's head by a wig and a tight vinyl hat...there are vague details on how I made it on the main site.
