I love analyzing the anime since they put so much effort into making everything so logical! i agree with tash, it would probably be cargo realistically.

The only thing that slightly bugs me about the realism is that there is no way they could produce condensed gas canisters with their technology unless there's a weird factory somewhere. (totally ignoring fact that the canisters are way too small to produce enough propulsion to start with). my inner engineer perked up when i heard 3D multi-axial and i couldnt stop myself from trying to come up with a working mechanism Razz

I've changed my plans for Auck, so now I'm going to join this group! yay! Very Happy

I havnt decided who I'll be yet though, maybe Armin, Mikasa or just use my real hair and do Sasha.

So far I'm halfway through all the straps, its so fun to do! And I'm thinking of buying the jacket. I have no time with only a month left before finishing my degree ><

How is everyone else doing with their progress?

My progress is slow.. was only able to start last week bought a heap of materials to get a start on this cosplay ive finnished my boots so far and working on my 3DMG this weekend and helping my friend build his most likely be building ours together to get it down and out the way. :) looking forward to seeing everyone's costumes! we gon be Fabulous! ^ I've ordered the jacket off of ebay and I spent most of the weekend working on the harness. The harness is nearly done! I really like how its turning out Very Happy

I'm going to go without the 3DMG.

Ordered the jacket off ebay, crossing my fingers it gets to me before Armageddon...got the recon corps cloak just yesterday that I love so much <3 Already got my Hanji glasses and I've been practicing anime eyes, contouring and shading face.

My swords are waiting to be spraypainted and in the upcoming week I'll be working on my 3DMG

I'm going to drop from the group in favour of not wearing 3dmg in the crowds/having to travel with it and cosplaying from one of my smaller fandoms. I look forward to seeing you all in costume though and getting pictures!

Partially because I've already made the 3DMG so not wearing it if I'm wearing the uniform seems like a waste of props and partially because I like to give love to the series I like that don't get cosplayed much, especially in NZ.

The wig I ordered for Petra came in the wrong colour unfortunately, so instead I've cut and styled a wig I already have for Mikasa :)
