[Curious Buyer~] Light blonde spikable (is that even a word?) wig??? By Kuro&Shiro. 17/09/13, 10:35 am |
| Hola! So, I finally got my butt back into gear, and sewed a Denmark (from Hetalia) cosplay. I bought a wig off trademe and just about put a big tick in the 'done!' Box, but... Yes, a but. It (the wig) turned out to be anti-spike and the wrong colour (and also leaving me broke...-er). Is there anyone who can steer me in the right direction to look for when buying another (and hopefully the last) wig? I probably won't buy it immediately, but I just wanna get an idea of the price etc... In other words, I'm stingy and am unsure what to look for! Hahlp! (I'll attach a pic of him soon... iPad is anti-forums...) ~Kuro
All right then... The whole editing bar has dissapeared on me... So here's a link my main reference point; [click here] And... [click here]

| For a simple blond wig go and check out minifies in Cashel St. There wigs are much nicer and cheaper than ever. Sites like Epic and Arda and cosplay wigs usa will have spikable blond wigs, thicker than the cheap chinese ones. Great quality and service too. If in doubt ask them. The Moe Mall wigs in Melbourne are also reasonable quality. Larger range too.
Cosplay House is hit and miss. Many people think Milanoo is almost a scam site.
Those are all I have dealt with personally. |

| You could also have a look on ebay as well, and google the seller to see reviews and quality. I personally like to buy from taobao when I can, just because they usually have the specific wigs I'm looking for. There's a thread somewhere with good Taobao sellers which have decent wigs that are reasonably thick.
Good luck! :) You could also try crazy sales but most of them are long-length wigs. |
