where we meeting again? lol I hope theres more than 5 of us >__>" i'm a Hamiltonian anyways so I can show you guys around btw(provided i'm allowed to go but i'm sure I am anyways) i'd like to create a back up plan in storage just incase I cant finish my original photography assessment~ XD

^ We will probably meet at the entrance to the gardens in the morning around 9am. (Not quite decided yet)

@brunetteyes - 9am?!?!?!?! Sweet baby Jesus that's early. And I'm just saying that cause it's gunna take me and hour and a half to get to hammy, then add prep time in the morning.... how about 10? Doesn't 10 sound like a nice even number? The sun will be higher in the sky, better lighting, closer to lunch, wow, doesn't 10 sound marvelous?!?!?

Oh, and what shall the plans be if the weather turns to custard on the day of the shoot?

^ haha ok 10 it is then. Its pretty informal so whenever you can really. Yea I suppose 9 is a little early. I guess I'm just use to uni where I have to start the day early to get everything done in time Razz

There are a some areas with shelter, so it it rains it will still happen. Theres a nice shelter in the Japanese and Italian gardens, and a few spots outside the garden with shelter. But if its pissing down, then probably will have to cancel. We dont want any cosplays ruined in the rain. I can just imagine bodypaint and the like running and becoming a disaster.

^ Oh thank the gods, 10 sounds perfect. Enough time to wake up, shower, get my face on, get my cosplay on, get chonny, get my two photographers that I'm bringing, boost it over the Kaimai's in my little over stuffed Toyota Starlet, get to the gardens, put nine tails on, then play dress-ups with my friends, lmfao. Yeah, 9 would have been good if I didn't need to drive an hour and a half to get there and considering it usually takes an hour and a half to get ready as well (no matter what I'm cosplaying) I think 10 will cause less stress for all those involved lol, and the lighting will be much better the closer to noon it is.

Speaking on lighting, are any of the photographers using one of those silver light reflecting circle thingys?? I only ask because my eyes are wicked light sensitive and I won't be able to wear my glasses whilst cosplaying, so if you are a photographer, and you have a silver light relector thingy, please don't use it with me, I'll go blind and get a migrane, lol.

Ok that's cool then. I just didn't want everybodies hard work to be spoiled and destroyed in the rain rain rain. Not the running of body paint!!! That has got to be the worst, lol.

QUESTION!!!!! I think we are, but I want to confirm with everyone; Are we going to have a little picnic/shared lunch at the garden??? Cause I think it would be really cute lol

It would be great to have a little picnic but I'm not sure if I'll have a lot of time to prepare food what with working on cosplays until the last minute Razz

I'd love to make some cookies to share though...

I would say bring lunch for yourself, (I'm not sure if there is anywhere nearby that you can get food), and if you're feeling generous also bring something to share ^^ I think it would be a big ask to get everyone to bring shared food, especially for the contest entrants.

Does that clear it up?

Yeah, I had a feeling that would be the case. Just bring your own lunch, maybe a paacket of biscuits to share, and eat it all picnic like in a big circle lol.
