| I noticed there is not allot to choose from that is close to the event centre.
Considered 'Forty Winks' and 'Backpackers Central Hamilton' settling on the former because they have breakfast available |

| I'm looking at http://www.hamiltoncityholidaypark.co.nz/accommodation-hamilton.html
It's one of the closest (1km) and pretty cheap for unit. |

| Well it depends on where on Victoria St it is.
From memory, I would guess it would be a 15mm to 20mm walk.

| There's Claudelands Motel just across the street from the events center, and a new one which I think is called Brooklyn Motor Lodge which is also very close. I have no idea of the price or whether they're any good though. |

| That HC Holiday Park looks to be a pretty decent setup. May have to change my plans to there, I think. |

| ^ I'm booking a place at HC Holiday Park. It looks good, cheap and close by :)
Also, this probably isnt the right place to ask, but does anyone know if its possible to buy tickets on Ticketek for the Ham and Welly Geddons in one go? I'd just like to minimise transaction costs and I cant work out how to do it. |
