I'm guessing Auckland would be best for most people? This is me assuming Hamilton/Welly are fully booked for a lot of ya. Too bad they're not canon characters to enter the comp with, these are some complex and beautiful designs

well uh...I really don't know. I'm just asumming because technically these are just art not actual characters....maybe? (not that characters aren't originally art) UM BRB gonna read over the rules real quick...

It probably won't matter in the end as I'm sure most people will be busy comp day and I wanna do it with the group anyway c: I'm only free for aucks sadly, but it depends on everyone anyway, don't want clashes D;

I think it would be allowed for comp entry. I entered an artwork illustration of Ciel from Kuroshitsuji last year without a problem. But then i suppose he's still an actual character.

Probably the only time I'd be free / able to finish it in time, would be Auck. And I wouldnt mind entering as a group if its allowed.

I've decided on Teacup! One of the more subdued designs (haha) and better for my current sewing ability :'D. I think I'll aim to get this done by Auckgeddon but I'll have to see how the year goes.

Edit: Okay definitely either Ruby or the March Hare rather than Amethyst.

wow this group is growing! Idk which to vote for the poll. I was thinking I'd really like to enter Apocalypse Jasmine for the Auck comp but I think the group wants to do it on the Hall day.

I could possibly enter Coffee for comp if its allowed. Has anyone emailed to see if its ok?

I would be keen for comp just because of the amount of detail and effort. I haven't emailed as my primary internet source is my phone with limited data. Someone should ask though

If they are established illustrations I'm sure they would be allowed in contest. I have entered a few pieces that only had one illustration available (Sakura being my latest).

I've been followin this group like a madman because I just cannot wait to see all the hard work and details you guys put into these costumes. The Armageddon Cosplay Contest rules state:

"4d] Costumes from all media will be accepted, this includes but is not limited to movies, anime, cartoons, manga, games, tv, musicals, comic books. card games, etc.
4e] Original or modified costumes and props will not be accepted. NPC characters are allowed from games as are in game sets of armour/costumes/weapons etc. You must be able to supply reference images that show all the elements you are recreating.
Please email armageddon.cosplay@gmail.com if you have any inquiries."

I don't think there would be any problem with the final fantasy recreations, but the others are all her original artworks, they are characters in any way. So you are really going to need to email the big guys about entering these wonderful designs into a competition. But I hope you can get them in because I really want to see you guys all fancy to the max!!! Good luck!!!

I can't get to Auckland this year D8 right in the middle of my exams, but if you all wore it then I'd still be keen for a photoshoot after!
