Hi guys! Time for an Update.
As it's the school holidays I have gone up to Whangarei to spend a good solid two weeks of making our cosplays for Wellington Armageddon.
First week is dedicated to Rocket from Sucker Punch.

Here is Haydens flintlock pistol he has been working on for Auckland. It has come such a long way considering it used to be a cheap $3 pistol from the Look Sharp Store. Cool thing is, is that it is also the exact same gun as Rockets. Hoozah!

2013 - Year in review.

SO this year has been a HUGE cosplay learning-curve for me.
I started this page which already has over 200 followers. To whom I am so thankful. 2013 was also full of a lot of first for me. At Wellington Armageddon, I was part of my first cosplay group, the lovely ladies from Sucker Punch. I made all of the costumes my self. I also won a technical award for my Baby Doll, which I had actually made two years before. Then I went to America, where I attended Dragon*Con. American cons are fantastic! the people were so welcoming and helpful. There I accidentally ended up as part of a Harry Potter cosplay group Next I went to Overload (for the first time) and it was awesome! That event has so much potential and it's great to see it growing. There I won best technical for my Corpse Bride. Lastly, I attended Auckland Armageddon as I do every year. My mum and I made all those cosplays you se in the bottom picture the week before. I entered the comp as Fleur Delacour and sadly I did not win a prize this time, but that means I only have to try harder next year.
