HarukaBasically done already - I want to unpick and resew the sash, since it's currently stitched on the outside - It's kind of a tube, so I can sew it in a way that will hide the seam, and I think it'd look better that way.
QPut together the feathers today - they probably need a trim to look a little more uniform, but I can do that later. Hot glued to slices of craft foam.
And the horns! Just put on a new lick of paint, some spots were showing through. They're made from a center of crunched up tin foil, then covered in air dry clay.
Old photo, and excuse the pajama pants underneath, but the dress and sleeve things are basically done! all that remains are straps and the belt.
RirichiyoWhere to start with this... main part of the clothing is done. All the red is cotton sateen, the white is proper kimono silk :999
Horns are also done! These are all air-dry clay - I'm so far planning on threading a headband through my wig and hot-gluing them onto it, but we'll see how well that will work. I'm thinking of repainting them, not sure if I'm 100% on that shade of grey, it's kinda green irl...
And the naginata! Started off as a piece of card from a packaging box, sandwiched two piece of plastic either side of it, glued a length of wool to both sides, wound round and round it with tape, and have started covering it in wall filler, sanding in between layers. My first proper 3d weapon prop, surprised I haven't broken something yet! /touches wood (put under cut for since it's a huge image, all progress up until now 8'D)
