Ok, so you see on the handle I've put two green lines? You need to make that bit wide enough to hold. Sora holds it with both hands easily so it would probably look best with that sort of handle. That means you need the space between the two green lines to be about 5 inches (based on me putting my fists together and taking a wild stap in the dark because my measuring tape has gone walkies). Check your own fist sizes.
Then, the over all keyblade needs to be about nine of that distance long. Basing on my guess of 5 inches, that would make the finished keyblade 45 inches (about a meter) long. The handle-y bit would be about 1.5 feet wide and ditto to the star at the other end. That's a pretty good size, I reckon, maybe a little on the small size? Depends on how big the person carrying it is. You don't want these things too big, they're difficult to pose with, carry and make! But too small looks daft.

I'd be really interested to see what you end up with - make sure you post pics!!

I want to see how yours come out!!!

I'm using MDF boards to layer them so that details some thickness and patterns.
Hopely they come out alright. XP
My Oathkeeper is 95cm in Total excluding the charm and the string at the back. I'm planning to make Oblivion the same size as well.
