Hi,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you, for making the last four years so very awesome.

From my first year helping Michaela in Wellington as "door beyotch" to today acting as an Armageddon Cosplay Co-Ordinator at Auckland Armageddon, I have nothing but admiration for all of you.

This admiration is not just for those that enter the Cosplay Parade or the Cosplay Competition, but for anyone that turns up to the Armageddon events and cosplays as their favourite character.

The cosplay community as a whole has been wonderful, welcoming, inspiring and beautiful. I have so many lovely and heart-warming memories.

I believe and feel that I have helped in some small way to grow and encourage Cosplay in this Country and I am so very proud of my involvement and having been a part of this community.

Don't think that you won't see me around, because you will, however I will be that paying punter in the Auditorium who will cheer and clap and cry, at all of your successes, your skills, your talents, and your love of this art.

i think that i speak for the whole community when i say thank you for constantly supporting us through our successes, our tears (THERE HAVE BEEN A LOT OF THOSE), our laughter and just us all generally as we've progressed. you are such a wonderful lady and we will never forget your amazing contributions. (:

I still remember when you walked into the cosplay judging room as Lulu. I pretty much gasped and flailed around at how awesome you were and I still think the same way. You're so generous and kind and we'll miss you as part of the cosplay team and I'm glad that you'll still be around! <3

(Also thank you for sending me home after drinks at kendra's that one time lmao)

My gratitude cannot be expressed in words! The work and commitment you have put into the cosplay contest (and community) with Michaela is limitless.
When I walked into the judging room to pick up our props for the stage, you looked hard at work. That memory will stay with me forever!

It'll be so lovely seeing you present and cosplay events in the future. I'm sure a lot of us feel a personal attachment to you, even if you don't know us individually that well! (If you get what I am saying).

Hey Ange, thanks for all your support and general awesomeness in helping our community over the years!

You and Michaela have always been very warm and friendly with us, particularly in what could be a very stressful competition- you have gone that extra mile to make us all feel comfortable and relaxed. Yet when challenges do arise, you have always displayed strength and maturity in addressing them, needless to say you are our role-model. I'm really glad that I entered the competition this year and had the privilege of seeing you in action one last time.

Also, when you're out there in the future cheering us on, I just want you to remember one thing. That when we shine -under the bright lights, all glamorously dressed up in our costumes- it is only because you have set the stage for us to do so.

We really do appreciate all the time and effort you guys put in every year to not only make this amazing event possible but a fantastic experience for all involved as well. (dealing with stressed and sleep deprived cosplayers is not easy ^.^)

I remember the first contest I entered and you had that AMAZING silver Thierry Mugler jacket and you were so friendly and warm!

Does this mean you will start entering again? ;)

Hey Ange

Like everyone else has said, thank you so much for everything you have done! You were always so approachable, friendly, and just as important – understanding!

I happened to go on Cosplay.Com (haven’t been in years!) and flicked through my PM’s that I never delete cause I keep forgetting haha. I found a reply from you after a contest, when we (my group) was upset we couldn’t get our cosplays/skit done, and you were so supportive!

Also, part of the reason the Cosplay Games have grown so big (to what they were initially) was from the ideas, support and advice you and Michaela gave me when it was ‘just an idea’ on the Cosplay.Com thread (before CNZ was created), as well as throughout the years.

So, thank you for everything you have done, for the Contest, for the Games, and for being You. <3
