Wash before brush or after? By Koemix. 03/06/12, 01:39 pm |
| This may be a completely naive question but I ask anyways;
I have two wigs i want to wash, one completely tangled in the worse way possible and another that just needs a little brushing.
I was just wondering weather it would be more effective to wash first or wash after.

| I would wash both first, and in a way that doesn't cause more tangling. There could be hair product or other muck that's causing some of the tangle.
And then when its fully dry, give a gentle comb with silicon spray and starting with the ends. Or if its not too bad, just run your fingers through.
That would be my approach anyway. |

| After you wash it let it hang/drip dry as the water will help weigh the hair out a little. |

| Thank you both, I'll be sure to wash the wigs first then let 'em drip dry ^^ |
