Dark Woods miku Cosplay.. Any help suggestions?

Hey, I'm going to attempt to make,,, from scratch... the dress/outfit that Miku Hatsune wears in the PV of Darkwoods Circus,

Is there any suggestions or tips of advice that i can get when i go into making this?

I'm hoping to make this in time for Armageddon in wellington next year..

Note: i am a sewer, and my mother is as well so she can help me sewing wise, i just need tips on like, what i need to be carefull to add to it or what length the skirt is and so on..

A reference would be a good start so others will know what you're talking about/which version C:
Then explaining which specific parts you need help on cause you request is pretty vague.

(Also for future reference, make sure you post in the right sub forum. This is for Forum Suggestions, not costume help C: )

oh sorry..it's the only one that would ALLOW Me to post.. i'm still a newbie here

And sadly no Neru is my friend she got her whole outfit (except the boots) from a chineese website called Taobao (i think i spelled it right..)

I'd look up dress tutorials and free dress patterns and see what comes up,
cause that might be just what you're looking for~
