has ANYONE else read this manga/watched the anime and fell in love with it? afaik it's the best musically-oriented manga out there- PLUS IT'S SHOUJO ALSKDJF (i know there's nodame cantabile but i didn't really like it.)

I know of it, but I hear Madja wants to keep the series special to her, so she hasn't lent it to anyone. I can understand that though xD.

Music manga doesn't really interest me :/

I'm totally in love with the Manga. SRSLY. I have up to Vol. 7 but that's because we're too freaking slow to get anything like that at a decent speed xD

The anime's fun, because you can hear what the music sounds like ;D

It was originally a video game, ya know ;D I've never played it though.

Don't worry though, I'm a music freak too xD Played piano since I was 4 so.... nearly 12 years now! xDD

yeah, i knew it was a game, but i haven't played it yet because i don't want to kill my bandwidth for the month.

BUT. YES. I LOVE IT SOOOO MUCH. the manga, the anime, just alskdjfl
(ryou is the best by faaaaar.)
i'm hopefully doing a cosplay of kaho sometime which'll be super fun.
