K, I've tentatively decided I'll head up to Palmy for the day to check this thing out, stalk some cosplayers, and buy food from the stalls. :)

I'm thinking day trip, leave in the morning, come back in the afternoon/evening. I will be driving. Anyone interested in catching a lift? Donations towards petrol won't be refused, but aren't a prerequisite.

Anyone interested? The cars a sedan, so 5 people incl driver should be fine, and it's only a couple of hours drive. The middle space in the back also has it's own proper shoulder seatbelt.

I'm also thinking it might be an idea to park up in town and take the free shuttle they mention on the information page to save the hassle of parking out there. Wissy: how bad is the parking around the IPC usually?

lol, I figure there'll be people walking around in Yukata so a few cosplayers thrown into the mix shouldn't cause a problem.

I wont' be cosplaying myself, just stalking people with camera, but if Pura, Gyusle, Balmung & Fang all head up that makes 5 people from Wellington. :)

I'm not sure what the weathers going to be but the last few years it has been quite warm, so a costume you won't die of heatstroke in would be ideal Razz

I'll be going as Gaara but not in his main Shippuden outfit (I'd die in that lol).

No you don't have to do that jpwise!!
You can park in my place. 23 Silkwood place. OR somewhere around the Silkwood place.
Well I can wait for you guys' arrival and walk to IPC together.
