[Poem] Star Jump

Star Jump

Troubles I feel
In the pit of my stomach
'Failure' rings in my head
I take a deep breath
And close my eyes

JUMP!

And I'm a star
Though only temporarily
My troubles are gone
I feel free
I can smile

A short poem I wrote to cheer up my friend when she was feeling really down and partly inspired by the people doing star jumps outside class. ^^;
Just thought I'd share it. =)

Though it kind of made my friend feel even more down at first because she started reading it when I had only written up to the 'JUMP!' part. She thought I was writing a suicide poem. >_<;;;;

Awww! <3 I like that it's not ridiculously long with huge amounts of big words and techniques that make everyone's brains switch off. xD
You should try entering Rewrite or something. (: This is so pretty!
And it conjures up mental images of people jumping into space... which I find cute. xD
