| What's it made out of and how big is it? You could post it to someone to hold on to in Welly. Others have used a second suit case padded with mattress foam or foam core. Or you could carry it on the plane with you depending on it's size. |

| I like Duckeh's idea
I find with heavily styled wigs the best way for it to not get destroyed is to wear it |

| Thanks! I'll probably just bring a carry on bag^^
Do you think I would be allowed to put a toy sword in my baggage or something of the similar? XD

| ^ It should be ok as long as it isnt seen as a threat. i.e there there no possible way that it could be used at a weapon.
I dont think you are allowed nail clippers, pocket knives or needles on planes. It can be quite pedantic. |

If it's in your carry on just make sure they realise it's fake....I had to pull out my fake Billhook to show it was made of foam and cardboard then was told to make sure I kept it hidden XD It was amusinf putting that through the scanner, the old couple behind me looked so offended O_o |

| I have flown with three swords in a box multiple times. No problems. Now if I tried to caqrry them on ...
Unless they are flimsy I would pack the pauldrons in among your clothing.
Pack the toy sword. You don't need anyone mistaking it for anything. Remember the flight from Blenheim that got hijacked at knife point. Only one in NZ history to be hijacked. Even if you don't get charged police interviews are not pleasant, trust me. |
