Cosplay Stall?

Okay, this is just a random idea i had that stood out among my many many strange thoughts.

What if a group of cosplayers arrange a stall?

We could tell people interested about cosplay, and about this website, and we could even do mini photoshoots or something. We would have to have at least 2 people there at a time, probably.
We could also put up pictures and tell people about what we've done as a club in Christchurch.

It would also be good for anyone who wants to do more then one cosplay a day, or doesnt want to carry around props/extra bags/purchases while cosplaying, as it would be a safe place to keep all this, and be out of the way of everything else.

Its kinda a silly idea, but i thought i may as well suggest it.

Lol, thats pretty cool, would be a great way to interest people into cosplay.

If we do that, it'd be cool to sell some little cosplay accesories, too, to get people started- ya know, like a bunch of us could get together one day and make like, Urahara hats or Phoenix Wright attorney badges- that kind of thing. Don't you guys think so?

Cosplay accessories, eh? Sounds like POTENTIAL PROFIT to me!!! Profit which we could spend on TAKING OVER THE WORLD!

Doing that you might have to investigate liscencing issues. You know we technically steal all this stuff we cosplay and while everyone is generally happy to look the other way when it's just for fun, people can get nasty when there's profit involved.

i'd like to remind all involved stalls cost around $1k to hold ;;; (at the very, very least)

i suppose u guys COULD try to sell cosplay costumes to get some profit dat goes towards da stall-fee or whateva.... but is it even worth it? we could juz always stand in some corner n pose n look cool... XD for free, XD

well theres no point in getting planning something like this when the harsh reality is that there is little to no way to get the money to actually have a stall there.

its a good idea, but if you know how much stalls actually are, then its virtually impossible.

Well Seraphik is setting up a cosplay stall at Auckgeddon this year in which I may or may not be helping out in terms of manning the booth. It's success will basically signal whether it's a good idea or not.

In other words, the idea has already been thought up and is in the making.

LOL, yeah, but I don't think everyone quite twigged on if seraphik was just helping her set it up, or actually involved, apart from everyones expressions of interest in a cosplay stall that is. Anyways, guess that's the cue for everyone to support the stall. Razz

Flusical will be the best, and we will make a lot of money.
And if it all goes well, we've got plans to do one in Christchurch next year too, sorry kids.
But if anyone has any other suggestions of things we should make to sell, just tack them onto this post, because suggestions are more than welcome Very Happy

I will definably be having a Look at the stand if and when its set up...also if I am able, I hope to make a Little Doco about Auck-Geddon for my Mates overseas, mainly about a movie called A Dog's Breakfast, but I would love to have some Cosplay stuff in there...I will have some SW stuff as well, so why not Cosplay!?
Would you guys mind if I nicely shove a Camera in your faces?? loljk
I kid, I kid! But I would still love to semi-interview you guys about it...
