Reintroduction

Hi Guys!

I haven't been on the forums in along time and have switch my name so I fugure it might by time to reintroduce myself. My name is now MoshiMoshi, but it ued to be Valska. My real name is Val and I'm pretty sure a lot of you have met me before, my most recent cosplays were Queen Khalida from Warhammer Fantasy (for the Sunday competition at Auckland 2011) and Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time (for the Saturday Cosplay Games at Geddon 2011). I may have also asked you to fill out a survey for my one day manga shop MoshiMoshi. So a little bit about me, I live in west Auckland and have been back in the countryu for about 10 months or so. Before that I had a stint in America for about 18 months. I was there to help family as I am originally from New Jersey in the US. I've been married for nearly 7 year to my wonderful husband Aaron who can be a cosplay technical genius for all the crazy stuff that needs to be made not out of fabric. I'm more into manga then anime, but I'm looking to become more of an expert in both as I'm going to need to be to run a sucessful manga shop. I'm pretty friendly and wouldn't mind making some more cosplay friends, feel free to PM me any time :)

I do like Naruto, I've cosplayed as Temari and Sakura (long hair) and would like to do Tsunade in the future. I have also made a Rock Lee costume for a friend, and helped make a Gaara and Kankuro.. Actually, I think that makes me a big Narutard huh? O.o lol

It's ok, I'm awful at remembering faces too, plus I change so much when it comes to costumes, if I'm in full make up no one even knows it's me until I start talking, then it's really obvious lol

I'm sorry But I'm not sure who you were, who were you at ACB and geddon this year(if you dressed up)?

Aww, thank you! And it was no trouble giving you a lift, I reckon you earned it when you helped me get into my costume :)
It's interesting to meet people that you've heard about for the first time isn't it? I'm glad I made a good impression. I rally liked your costume too, I can't believe you painted all that trim orange! It looked awesome though, I never would have guessed it was painted.

Yes, we're going for a 2 week Epic Holiday. Aaron and I planning on starting a family soon, so now is the time to go and have a ball ^.^ I reckon it will be the only time we get to go (though Aaron begs to differ) so I want it to be as awesome as possible! >.< Any suggestions? :) (and that goes to everyone)

I've never been to Japan but definitely try heaps of different food, and go to all the landmarks, and maybe try to not be a tourist for a day and hang around local places? And shopping!

I'm sure u'll have a ball whatever you do :) It'll be tough not to.

i haven't been to japan, yet!

one of my old work friends from aus was just in japan last week. He tried lots of food, went to local bars and the tokyo disneyland i think it was and saw lots of cosplayers. Also did the shrine visits and wore kimono.
