Spice and Wolf

Last year when I was in the Vic Uni anime club I caught a few episodes of Spice and Wolf in jp. I thought it was quite neat. Brilliant animation and something different to my usual taste. So last week I bought season one with the eng dub, and i think it's still just as good. So I was wondering if anyone else has watched it, and what they thought of it?

It is! Totaly worth watching. It's about a traveling merchant who ends up finding the reincarnated (sort of) human form of a wold god that people have lost faith in, and she ends up traveling with him.

I love the bit where Holo defends the gold smuggle group from those wolfs it
looks badass and the bit where she said have no respect for their elders was awesome.
Did you watch season 2?

yea that was an awesome episode. I just finished season 2 last night (i was watching an episode a day along with other anime), and i'm hanging out for a third season, but there still hasn't been one made =/ So because I'm so keen to follow the story I'm thinking of purchasing the light novels =S

I'm cosplaying her next year, Kitten Very Happy

I love this series, quite slow and laid back but I guess that's where it's charm comes from. It's a nice change from all the stereotypical animes out there ^__^

I'd say so. They're fairly recent releases. The second season was only released here on dvd a couple of months back

i watched the first season it was brilliant Very Happy

creative and well outside the box of the typical anime. its cleverly written (book and manga) and has a simple story line, i really enjoyed it!!!!
also has my favorite theme song (intro)
i can see how some people find it boring but its a bit like lucky star (far fetched i know) as it doesn't really have a big climax, its a drawn out story with the aim being finding Horo's home.
