Mizuki Nana Fan project @ Armageddon! - Photoshoot details!

(In conjunction with the UoA cosplay club too)

Basically, Danie/Jouttex (one of the biggest Nana Fans) is planning a project to present Mizuki Nana with a fan project, gathering Nana fans from all around the world. Details can be found here:

Date: Saturday 29th October (only day I can make it, because exams etc T_T)

Please bring:
Cosplay (optional but would be great)
Nana Goods (if you have any)
Camera

We also need someone to do a large board for the city board thing.
Letter: ム (Japanese Katakana for 'mu' as in 'dome (doomu)')
Please contact me if you're willing to make one. It must be readable in the photo, however.

Free pose! as long as you AND the background is visible (a.k.a not 90% your face xD)

>> Minimum resolution

Small groups (1-5 people): 1600 x 1200 px
Big groups (>5 people): 2400 x 1800 px

Bigger is better! Just send what your digital camera took, even if it's over 4000 pixels.

Photos will be printed around 3R size (9 x 13 cm = 3.5" x 5")
for most groups (bigger group will be printed bigger).

You can send several photos but please indicate your preferred/best shot.

We only have space for ONE photo per city.

Please post in GG's discussion topic to group with people from your city.

Self-printed Nana photos/posters/T-shirts are OK, but NO pirated CD/DVD.
If you're not sure, please consult.

NO message boards (hard to read in small photo size, and it might confuse the sentence).
You
can send message boards separately, by mailing the actual thing to us
(Japan or Hong Kong) and we will hand it together. Email personally for
more details.

Long banner with your group / country name is OK
(If possible, consult the banner design first)

>> Sentence Arrangement
We're assigning letters to some groups make a sentence in the whole book.

1 Japanese letter / English word is appointed to 1 city.

In case someone backs out, we only assign groups with more than 3 members.

Free size as long as the word/letter is clearly readable. Consider your pose and number of people.

For English word, you can make 1 letter/board or just 1 word/board, up to you.
For Japanese word, please be careful with the letter shape.

Email a photo of the letter board anytime before your photoshoot for checking.

Since there's gonna be a lot of us over Geddon, it should be a great opportunity to show support to who is arguably the most influential Anime song artist this century (several singles topping the Oricon chart, 2 Kouhaku appearances?!). If you have a cosplay of one of the characters she has done (quite a lot, standout roles include Fate from Nanoha, and Saya from blood-C).

Ideally, we'd want a photo to represent Auckland/NZ, but if time does not allow I guess shooting at the Geddon grounds with some backup would be fine. The important points is our messages of support :) also, more photoshoots, why not?

Also, support Nana buy buying some singles or albums of her from either amazon.co.jp or hmv.co.jp :)

Hnngh would love to. Except I haven't cosplayed any characters by Mizuki Nana ... Might be able to pull together a Minami Touma cosplay from Minami-ke but I doubt it ;A;
