Dude. No DRRR!! thread?

I just marathoned it and my thoughts...

WHAT THE HELL, MAN.
SO ANTICLIMATIC.

I was expecting to feel all fuzzy and satisfied at the end... But i don't~~
Ah~~ Im going to rewatch Baccano! to make myself feel better~

Anyways. At the first episode I thought it was boring as it didn't grab my attention in the first few minutes like Baccano! did. But after that episode it got more interesting and I followed through~

I don't see Mikado with Anri though, I feel shes more suited to stick with being the badass lone wolf. But Mikado's effort to get Anri is cuute~

& I used to like Orihara but as the series went on didn't so much....
Though yes, his bike imitation was so win.

Naw ShinraxCelty is so cute. At first I thought Izaya was cool. Then I hated him. But you can't hate him and his Pryomaniacness.

I didn't really like Saki, probably because she wasn't really seen.

I can see Mikado and Anri together. But I just think it'll take a hell of a long time.

haha exactly... We see them on a train and I was like 'where the hell are you running to in a train?!' then I realised they probably only could take the train. I seriously doubt they had the money for a plane or anything Durarara!! 89858

If I was Mikado, I would be hunting them down going berserk at him for just leaving with no explanation. What kind of friend is he?

Durarara's bad, it got boring after that 8th ep. Celty getting her head back didn't happen - too many mysteries left unsolved. And it kinda lost its atmosphere throughout the next eps

Only ever rly loved the eps with a majority of Izaya in it O_O

Probably because the anime doesn't cover the whole story. I can imagine that there would be a second season, or you could just read the light novels. But I don't think it's bad, or boring~

I know that the light novel has much more of the story revealed, but we're talking about the anime here. A second season hasn't been confirmed, but the last couple of episodes does set up for one, so, there should be one...if they're sane. The OVA doesn't exactly support the main story but rather expands on the characters, so if we don't get a 2nd season, this'll be one of those anime that started off well and transformed into something mediocre.

I wouldn't be fangirlingboying about this at the moment.

XD i finished it!

i agree, it was weird that the two of them suddenly left, but cute when he appears on the chat! Very Happy funny little guy with a green hat. and it sounded suspicious when he said he was work mates with izaya.. is he being an info broke too?

and i generally just love the intro and fin soundtracks and the eerie, exciting background music xD
