Need help! Remus Lupin!

| Hello guys
I am a brand new and shiny cosplayer, and I first wish to do a Remus Lupin cosplay
I have absoutly no idea where to start and im not good with sewing or things (IMADUDE)
So if you want to give me links to wigs or clothes or anything, or how to make this stuff
All help appreciated!

| ebay = best place for wigs
(well there is trademe but i've never ordered from there, they dont have a very wide variety)
you could get a robe or something off trade me or ebay, BUT i'd try second-hand shops first for the clothes.
Also I'd get material/patterns now if you havent made costumes before, and you need to make intime for Auckgeddon
just incase you have to make stuff again ^^;

| Kanekelon and heat reisistant wigs are the best types. Heat resistant is amazing, but for a short wig, kanekelon is just as good. C:

WIGS ERRYWHERE.
For Lupin you could probably op shop trawl for most of his clothes.
For the wand- http://behindinfinity.deviantart.com/journal/42571019/ This is a pretty basic way of doing it that turns out pretty awesome~ http://www.noblecollection.com/images/products/NN8298Lh.jpg this is apparently what Lupins wand looks like, from a quick google search. So you could always chuck a marble or something similar on the end before covering and etc to get the perfect circle? His is way more smooth then that tutorial result is, but hopefully I gave you some ideas? |

| Just as a suggestion, why don't you post a pic of Lupin in the costume you want, so its easier
for us to see and offer advice?
On a side note, I think Pyro was putting an HP group together for next year, and I'm being roped in to play Hagrid. |
