To Bleed or not to Bleed....
Post By Cookie Monster. 14/08/11, 10:39 am

Currently I am making a suit of Berserker Armour.
However before proceeding to painting, I wish to seek opinion on whether to add blood to the armour.

I wish to "intimately" capture the dark, brutal violence of Guts and the Berserker armour, but keep it within good tastes.
I have bloodied, The Dragon Slayer:
Spoiler:

But I am undecided if this will provide enough constrast for the overall image I am try to portray.
My idea for blood on the Berserker Armour is something along the lines of this:
Spoiler:
This is far too excessive:
Spoiler:

I will value and appreciate any input.

Are you injured or blood from the enemy? If it is the enemy it should be more splatter than dripping down I think

I probably should mention a little bit about it it:

Spoiler:

More to the point, it's not blood from an enemy, but from from injuries/use. But as I mentioned I don't really want to add blood to the armour if the bloodied sword provides enough contrast.

Maybe a bit of blood will tie the sword to the armour
