Christchurch Cosplay contest 2011

With the official word that after yesterday the Addington raceway is okay and the event is a go for sure we can now give a final date for cosplay registrations :)

The email registrations are always the Wednesday before the event and the hand ins always the Saturday of the event, the contest usually on Sunday.

So for Christchurch:
Email registrations Wednesday 29th June, I will accept them through the evening (until 7pm) and you will get a confirmation email as usual. If you don't get one assume your form has not been received and bring in a copy on Saturday.

Hand ins all day Saturday 2nd July, I will collect them at the end of the day.

For those who don't want to enter but would like to be part of it all, I will need a few helpers for both the parade and contest. Lucy has offered to do the parade but she will need wranglers to make sure entrants get on and off the stage in a timely order. I have no idea of what the stage looks like so we will all need to meet during the day to check it out.

I will also need some help with the contest, a 2IC to wrangle contestants and make sure they are where they need to be for judging and for the stage. Again I don't know where the judging will take place and it will almost certainly be sorted on the Saturday.
Information will be at the info booth as soon as it is sorted.

I have Lunissne's email in the armageddon.cosplay@gmail.com address book but I don't know about you Sakura or the Doctor so if you two could email I can send you all the volunteer pack (which I am probably going to have available through google docs so eveyone can see how it all works) so you have an idea of what is expected :)

Woot! Brilliant :) Full contingent for both days :) More packs will be emailed tonight when I fire up the desktop:)

Also finally sourced A5 envelopes so certificates will be fully encapsulated to keep safe :)

Sakura Petals I don't appear to have your email address, if you can email at armageddon.cosplay@gmail.com I can send you the super wordy volunteer guide :) Actually the parade file isn't that long, those ~~poor suckers~~ wonderful people who volunteer for the contest get the big file ;)

Thanks all for volunteering again :) I have sent emails this morning to everyone who sent their email address, but I will be on site from tomorrow morning nice and early so will be able to be found to ask questions. If you haven't seen either email I would have sent don't worry I will have all info on me :)
